Climate Change and environmental Resilience 

Somaliland is currently experiencing the effect of climate change in rural areas for recurrent droughts, deforestation and soil erosion   explore the most pressing environmental challenges to increase the level of understanding on the effect of the climate change on the lives of Somalilanders. SONSAF prioritizes four awareness and public information, green investment, decision making and representation, capacity building for climate chage activist. international cooperation and innovative solutions. SONSAF facilitates space of dialogue and debates about climate change challenges in order to address actionable solutions such advocating inclusive environment policies, plastic waste management, circular economy. SONSAF also organizes meetings with government, legislative, community organizations, political parties to discuss and agree long term environmental resilience strategies.
